I. General
- Were you previously questioned by a police authority/ district attorney's office/court regarding your imprisonment in the former concentration camp Stutthof (when/where)?
- When and how did you get to Stutthof (time and circumstances of the arrest and imprisonment)?
- What was the period of time during which you were imprisoned at the former concentration camp Stutthof (duration of imprisonment and circumstances of termination thereof)?
- Can you roughly remember what the camp looked like (breakdown of the camp areas, hand drawn sketch if possible)?
- How did the arrival of new prisoners ensue (by train, unloaded where)?
- Is it possible that you may have witnessed releases or further transports to other camps?
- Where were you housed in the camp?
II. Living Conditions
- What were your jobs/tasks at the camp?
- How would you describe the living/working conditions at the camp? (meals, rest periods, sleep, medical care, etc.)
- Did prisoners die due to the living/working conditions?
- Are you able to say how many died?

- Were you, yourself, a witness of killings?
- Which killing methods did you witness and which ones may you have heard of?
- Did you witness the selections?
- Did you witness prisoners being taken in the direction of the crematorium/gas chamber?
- How did the selection of prisoners occur? How were paths travelled along? Who were the prisoners guarded by? At which times did it take place?
IV. Role of SS security guards
- What can you say about the role of the SS guard companies? (general tasks, accommodation)
- Were the same guards always deployed for the same tasks or did they change their roles?
- You are now presented a map of the camp from December 1944. The different areas of the camp are visible here, in particular the areas of the "old" as well as the "new" camp.
- If possible, please describe by which system these areas were guarded (location of the watch towers and how they were manned, the sequence of Postenketten [CORDON or GUARDS], deployment to gates).
- According to the information available to us here, SS guards were also sent to accompany work crews outside the camp. What was the daily routine like? How did guards behave towards prisoners?
- Did you witness guards directly participating in the killing of prisoners?
